Hmmm, for some reason that doesn't exactly match up with my list.
70 F82-7801 HANDLE METAL PLT
71 E24-8101 HANDLE METAL PLT SCREW
72 F82-7101 SPACING SLEEVE
73 F82-7601 HANDLE METAL
74 F36-6804 HANDLE METAL COLLAR
SHV doesn't have:
1. Ball bearing on the inside of the spool tension knob.
2. The IAR bearing and the bracket kit that's holding the IAR bearing.
3. The bearing sleeve that goes inside the IAR bearing and goes on the gear shaft.
GWZ30 Parts.
I do not remember where I got that from but from what I recall those are the parts you need from a GWZ30 to convert a 20SHV.
(Is that right Nick, GWZ30 parts for an SHV 20?)
That was one of my projects that I never got around to, didn't have to--I have a Penn 525 Mag
I recall Nick getting about 6 of those over a year ago to convert reels. Check with him first and if he can not get the parts PM me. |

Thanks! I will be calling for the parts. Since I have to place an order anyway, I guess I’ll have to order a rod as well…LOL
How is the clicker on the Penn 525 MAG in comparison to the Daiwa SHV? I’ve been having a hard time deciding between the two. I like everything about the Penn, but the reel will be used for bait fishing and a loud clicker is a necessity. |

hey Torpedo, i guess you wouldn't need a clicker since your rods sit in your casa anyway...
Diawa clickers are louder than the Penn... _________________ BEER TASTES MUCH BETTER WHEN ONE HAND IS OCCUPIED WITH A BREAKAWAY OR NIPPLES
